CLIVE HURLEY
Clive is an Associate Partner at gb², bringing a wealth of experience in forensic investigations and assisting quantum experts in a range of litigation and arbitration proceedings involving contracts under FIDIC, IChemE, NEC, ICE and JCT terms.
Prior to joining gb², Clive spent several years with Navigant specialising in forensic investigation of quantum disputes in large engineering and construction disputes.
Clive's previous posts included the Head of Service of the London Borough of Camden’s Building Design Services (BDS), where Clive managed its project management, architectural, engineering and surveying services; and, Associate at Jackson Rowe Associates, where he was directly involved in work for developers, contractors and building owners over a range of disciplines covering expert reports, cost management, claims, disputes and adjudications.
Clive's experience includes:

Assisting in the preparation and writing of expert witness reports for quantum in domestic and international litigation, arbitration and adjudication hearings.

Investigation into the technical provisions of contracts, pricing, costs and claims.

Providing advice to national agencies, clients, and contractors on procurement and contractual arrangements. Setting up estimating frame works for the London underground redevelopment programme.

Preparing, defending and advising on post-contract claims brought in respect of the valuation of additional works, delay and disruption, and termination.
