DANIEL RIMMER​

Daniel is an Associate Partner at gb², bringing over 19 years of industry experience across the UK, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australasia. A qualified quantity surveyor with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, Daniel combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of the commercial and contractual aspects of complex projects.

He has worked with leading expert consultancies and main contractors on high-profile assignments in the infrastructure, oil and gas, power, education, and commercial sectors. Daniel specialises in quantum analysis, cost and valuation assessments, and broader commercial management. His project experience includes advising clients on standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, JCT, and NEC.

Daniel has extensive experience in the preparation and defence of claims relating to delay, disruption, and variations, and regularly supports expert witnesses in international arbitration proceedings. He has acted as assistant to the appointed quantum expert on several large-scale disputes, providing robust analysis and strategic input throughout the dispute resolution process.

Daniel is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), and a Practicing Associate of the Academy of Experts (AMAE).
