He has worked across many industry sectors including resources, water, energy, marine, rail, transport and private development. His expertise includes delay and disruption analysis, claims quantification, project controls, project scheduling, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, estimating management, value engineering, business improvement, project and program management, business case development, and cost management advice.

 

The mixture of client and consultant experience, in and for the private and public sectors, gives Derek a unique and balanced approach to each engagement. His experience in the delivery of capital works projects and programs provide a solid basis for the analysis of delay in the event that a dispute arises in relation to the completion of a project.
