A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Mark is an partner of gb2. He specialises in quantity surveying, loss and expense, cost audit and project advisory.

 

Mark was a Group Trainee with Wimpey in London before moving to Hong Kong for 14 years, working with contractors and in private practice, before relocating to Dubai and then back to London.

 

Mark is experienced in the use of many forms of contract and has over 25 years of experience in construction. He has been directly involved in a broad range of industries including residential, building, rail, LNG, water and highways. His experience covers feasibility studies and pre-tender documentation, through procurement and post-contract administration to settlement of accounts and dispute resolution.

 

Mark's experience includes:

• Feasibility studies for urban rail networks in Hong Kong;

• Quantity surveying services for Cathay Pacific City, Hong Kong from design budgets, tender documentation, project administration to settlement of final accounts;

• Site-based advisor on post-contract claims submitted by the contractor for valuation of additional works, delay and disruption;

• Project Advisory Services at Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai and Jordan LNG terminal;

• Assisted in providing expert witness services on arbitrations, TCC and adjudications.
