MICHELLE MCNAMARA

Michelle is a chartered surveyor with over 23 years’ experience across infrastructure and real estate. She has worked for contractors and in private practice.  Michelle has worked at both the pre and post contract stages of projects, providing quantity surveying and cost management services. She has experience on a number of different forms of contract including JCT, NEC, ICE and various bespoke contracts together with the cost management from inception to completion.

Michelle has provided assistance to the quantum expert witness in a number of international arbitration disputes. Michelle is experienced in reviewing contracts and tender documents in order to produce reports detailing the intended working of the contract and advising on commercial risks and opportunities.

Michelle's experience includes:

 

• Being responsible for the commercial management on a number of projects. She has advised on contract terms and risk exposure.

• Carrying out detailed investigations into price and cost-based claims.  She has experience of carrying out actual cost audits on live and completed projects.
