Hakan Arslan is a Partner at GBsqd, bringing nearly 20 years of international experience in construction and engineering disputes. He is widely recognized for his expertise in delay and disruption analysis, project scheduling, and the preparation and assessment of claims on complex, high-value projects.

 

Hakan’s academic foundation is distinguished by a dual degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering, followed by master’s degrees in Structural Engineering and Construction Law. This unique blend of top-tier academic achievement, technical expertise, and legal knowledge enables him to bring a multidisciplinary perspective to the most challenging disputes.

 

Throughout his career, Hakan has supported expert appointments in numerous arbitrations and adjudications across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. His work includes the preparation of expert reports, joint statements, and hearing presentations, consistently demonstrating clarity, precision, and strategic insight.
