JOSH MILLS
Josh is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over nine years of experience working in the construction industry. He started his career with Transport for London as a civil engineer specialising in highways and transport infrastructure. He gained design and construction experience through secondments to Parsons Brinckerhoff and BAM Nuttall.
More recently, Josh spent two years as a Senior Associate for PwC advising on the largest infrastructure projects in the UK and working on expert determinations. He is equally comfortable delivering strategic advice to Programme Directors at board level or working on the ground within a client organisation team.
Since moving to Australia, Josh has specialised as a Delay Analyst applying his knowledge and skills to assist Expert Witnesses on large scale construction claims. He has gained experience on several domestic arbitrations, ranging from transport infrastructure to oil and gas.
Areas of Expertise
Forensic Delay Analysis
Josh has led the delay analysis on several construction claims, reviewing construction programmes and records to determine the critical path and the extent of delay. Josh takes a pragmatic approach which enables him to adapt to the available information and records.
BIM and Construction Technology
In previous roles, Josh has gained experience advising clients on construction technology and BIM implementation. Josh has developed a prototype construction app with a games developer and supported the implementation of InfraTech.
