KALPESH PATEL

Kalpesh is an associate partner at gb².  He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.  He has over 28 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, including 15 years practical experience as an engineer in the design, construction and analysis of a wide range of engineering projects worldwide.

 

Kalpesh focuses on analysing project delay, including assessment of extension of time and disruption. He has worked on projects including process/power plants in Europe, Central America and Middle East; marine projects in the UK and South America; airport/rail/metro projects in Europe and Middle East; road, tunnel and utility projects in Europe and Middle East; road/rail suspension bridge in South East Asia; a stadium, buildings and hospital projects in the UK and Middle East; oil and gas projects in the UK and Middle East and telecom projects in South America and Europe.

 

Kalpesh has undertaken analysis of delay to the I&C design of a nuclear power plant in Europe, as part of an ICC arbitration.

Areas of Expertise

Expert Witness - Kalpesh has undertaken independent delay analysis to assist in negotiations, arbitration and litigation proceedings. He has worked as the lead assistant and has attended arbitration hearings in Dubai and London.
